When I bought my new-to-me 26' TT last year I towed it for a couple of hundred miles without the WDH because it hadn't arrived yet and I wanted to see how it towed without it. It definitely needed the weight distribution part. Then I towed it for another two hundred miles. I've never had an ounce of sway out of it so I've never used the anti-sway portion of the hitch. I have about 4,000 miles on it now. I'm towing with a 2005 F250 diesel 4X4 long bed.
See how it tows, it may not need the anti-sway portion at all.
