We tow a 35' TT with a 2000 Ford F350 with the crew cab and long bed, so it's a very similar setup to what you have. Now, having that tremendously long wheelbase is a definite plus in the overall stability for towing.
Having said that, we definitely use a sway control on our setup. Ours is the Equalizer Brand hitch system which actually is a dual purpose system (it's a sway controller and weight distribution system all in one).
So yes, invest in a sway controller....you might actually look into two as it's been noted on this board that a TT of that length could necessitate two.
