FWIW I have had three trailers in recent years, a used Fleetwood popup that I kept a year with no problems, a new Gulfstream, that was supposedly a poor quality (according to many on this forum) entry level TT with one minor issue fixed under warranty. Kept it four years. Now have a Jayco Eagle that I bought new in January 2012, and have had very few minor issues. I have used the Jayco about 380 nights in two and half years. Can't help much with what to avoid but I have been happy with Gulfstream and Jayco.
