Any experience with new gas engines hauling heavy??

So my dad right now is completely fed up with his 2014 ram cummins dually. He has spent over 10K in the last year on it. That being said, I told him he might want to look at the new gas trucks. ...

I have a 6.2 and it does just fine for my application but if I were going to pull that much weight with a gasoline engine I'd wait until one of the new bigger engines to come out.
