Hi cmeade....thanks for the tip, but I guess now I will have to see what it looks like.... cause the curt is already on it's way to me. I purchased it a couple of days ago after speaking to someone at etrailer about what to buy. They never mentioned any cutting and if I remember correctly I watched a you tube video on installation. Can you explain a little more in detail what has to be cut?
As for blocking the front license plate I guess I will just relocate it on the front of the hitch if it becomes an issue.
My truck does not have the tow hooks...so that even made me feel better about installing a front hitch...will give me a tow point and place for future winch.
