My big question for Ford is why they are sticking to the 6.2 gas engines in everything from the 250 and up after pulling that engine out of the 150 several years ago for poor fuel economy. The 150 Ecoboost got about 3 more mpg than the 6.2L did in the same truck and has more usable power. Surely there is something that Ford can do to get a more powerful and fuel efficient engine in the larger trucks. This is more important since many commercial trucks are getting away from diesels due to emissisions, emission control systems and CNG is cheaper. I guess one factor would be how hard is it to run CNG in a boosted engine?
