Have been camping from the 40's. Both my wife and I grew up in camping familys. Our first rig was a small trailer pulled by an old Chevy with a 235 CI 6 cyl. Had granny gear. Almost had to drive a stake beside it to see it move up some of the long grades. But we always got were we were going. We do love the back country and have kept our rigs small so we can get up into the high country often on one lane gravel roads. We have traveled with Boats (live aboard), Our old 25 foot Airstream (20 years), 3 popups, other trailers and now our Class C. Would not trade one day of it for any thing else in the world. Have always had to make what ever I had into what I wanted it to be or do.
