I am glad to hear that your experiences has been positive. I have heard good and bad things about Forest River products, but it could have the dealership experience as well. I know I loved the Jayco P/U that we had and loved the support I got from Jayco, but the Jayco dealership I used was absolutey HORRID. The 231kss we looked at appeared to have a ton of inside space. We have a 85lb golden retriever, a 2 year that still sleeps in a pac n play and another one on the way in the next year. Depending on how big Helen (oldest daughter) gets in the next year, we may still have 2 pack n plays set up. I would like to see Helen start sleeping on the couch when we get the 2nd child since she will be 3-3 1/2, but I do not know if she will be brave enough to sleep in the other bed. So we need plenty of inside space and the 2nd slide really seems to open the space up.
How much outside space does the kitchen slide take up under the awning? The pictures I have seen appear to be not that bad. I do like the idea of place to put a wagon, tricycle, or whatever to get out of the way or out of the rain like I did under the rear bunk of the p/u.
