I'm not sure, do you want a suburban or expedition to be your next kid hauler/tow vehicle? That would open up a hybrid, any lessor vehicles its pups only. I have two body on frame SUV and two kids and 90lb lab. The first is a trailblazer V8 that towed our old pup: 3400lb glamper. Insert second baby and the lab had nowhere to go so we got a dedicated tow vehicle. Traded the nightmare pup for a easy to setup nonslide bunkhouse hybrid. The pickup fit the 2 young kids and dog easily but unfortunately wrecked it while towing. I then bought a K2500 sub to drag loads of gear, family, dog and never have to worry about payload again. 3 vehicles in the driveway and a camper is quite expensive. If you can, just swing one big SUV and tow a hybrid.
