We sleep in our TT while on the road for months at a time. Bottom line , get a residential matter's, a good one. Life is to short to wake up miserable!
In our old trailer I had to have a custom mattress made 1000.00 worth every penny over the course of 5 years. In our current TT we could only have a queen size and when I close the slide I have to lift it so it goes over the dresser at the end of the bed, again worth it big time.
As the sales guy said, You put out 10s of thousands of dollars for a rig and they give you a bag of straw for a bed, NOT ME!
