^^^I understand that. This is not my first dealings with trailers; I travel with my boyfriend in a larger trailer, but am looking for a smaller one for myself and grandkids when I retire. I've thoroughly researched tow ratings and payloads of assorted vehicles. I also understand it's best not to tow at the limits of the vehicle.
If I can stay under 4000 GVWR I will get a SUV to tow, like a 4Runner or Explorer Sport. If I can't find a trailer to suit my needs under that weight, I will get a truck. Right now am just narrowing down the options.
