I keep seeing bunks at 28-30" wide, max. Those are OK for little kids, but how can an adult be reasonably comfortable in one? I might have my 70 yr old sister with me, and one of us will be in the bunk. (She says she will share anything but a bed and toothbrush with me.:))
Not sure if normal furniture store can help you in this regard. Would you mind trying with furniture stores, surplus furniture who provide normal bunks at warehouse prices ***Link Removed***
