I guess I am just very simple. I have a 1996 Dodge Club Cab, 2500 2WD, lg bed, 12-valve diesel, Auto trans and limited slip diff. I paid cash for it in 2001, with about 75,000 miles. It now has just over 250,000 miles. I do my own maintenance and mechanical work. I have the fuel system for more HP, and nothing on the engine has ever failed. I had one transmission installed for the increased HP, and had a second installed due to my neglect. I have also upgraded the brake system components, suspension, and made many other changes/mods to set it up as I want. I am okay with my 12.5 MPG with TC and towing my Zuke.
I have no interest in a new truck of any make. If I were to replace my truck, it would be with a 1995 through 1997 Dodge Club cab 12-valve Dsl, prefer a 2500.
