While most of the 3500/350 rear axles are rated by the manufacturer to 10,000# it is the other parts of the equation that is the true limiting factors! Most important is tires and rims! I have seen 16,000 GVWR 5er towed by a F350 SRW, but I surely would not want to do it! That is time to be looking a dually.
