Anybody have 19.5 Vision rims on a Dodge

I just got a set of Vision 19.5 rims with Duratrac 245 /70 / 19.5 tires after installing them they vibrate terrible right out of drive way at about 45 mph and up.
I called place i got them (Wheel Rack In California ) and talked to Chris and he seemed very uninterested in helping said I probably threw a weight Since they vibrated immediately out of driveway I doubt that. I have less than 30 miles on them and haven't been over 60mph.
I have rotated tires on this truck before and never had any issues and I know the truck is solid didn't have any vibration immediately before changing tires and I used a torque wrench.

My question is this to those of you that have this set up.
Did you have to have them rebalanced ?
If so how did you balance - road force , centramatic, beads ?
I believe these are lug centric do I need centric rings ?
Should I remove the wheel stud clips ( maybe not letting wheels fit against hub properly)
Chris told me they use weights and beads did this work for you ?

Wheels are very heavy and it's cold out so looking for some advice before going through removing them again.

I have read several post about members that have this set up and recommended this shop. Hope I didn't make a $2000 mistake
I've also read lots of post about balancing , beads , centramatics etc.
Nearest place that can road force balance is about 2 hr away and not really wanting to pay for that if it's not the problem.
Hoping maybe it's just a install issue or something I overlooked.

    I have the 19.5s on my 1996 Dodge 2500. My Michlens have never been a problem. I have been running them for about seven years.

    You might consider posting the year of your Dodge, and the brand of tires.

    The Vision hubs do not have a tight fit into a lot of balancers like most wheels. You need to ask them if they have the equipment that will ensure the wheels are centrally mounted onto the spinning balance tester.

    I put my 16's back on for the winter, smooth as silk. The Visions were not so nice.

    If the truck is a dually make sure the nylon centering ring is installed in the steel inner wheel.

    Also have them road force balanced. I had to have mine road forced 3 times before they got it right. But now they are nice and balanced. My tire shop also had to try 8 tires to end up with 6 good ones on my truck. The other two had too much tread hop, which was discovered during road force balancing. These tires/wheels are so heavy that if you have a little tread hop on one tire you'll really feel it.

    Bottom line: They are a pain in the rear for the tire shop. Doing the job right means they'll spend several hours road forcing, remounting, rotating tires on the rim, to get it right.

    Also don't run too much air pressure.

    I had the Visions with Toyo M608Zs on my 2001 Dodge. Les Schwab never could get these things to balance correctly. Les Schwab replaced 3 of the tires because they failed the force test and still my truck would vibrate at highway speeds. I ended up putting my 16s back on and selling the Visions/Toyos. In the long run I traded in my truck for a dually, something I should have done in the first place.

    I would take them back and have them go for a ride with you. Les Schwab can balance them too.

    Hi Larry,
    I have Vision 19.5's on my '05 Ram 3500 and the ride is smooth as glass!!

    You definitely need to have them match-mounted and road force balanced by a shop that knows how to balance truck wheels/tires... most don't! A qualified shop will be able to tell you if the tires have uncorrectable road force and if so the manufacturer should warranty the tire(s) for you.

    Stud centering is fine, you don't need a centering ring if your truck is SRW. Centramatics and/or DynaBeads may reduce/eliminate the vibration, but they are band-aids for wheels that cannot be balanced with conventional wheel weights or tire weight-patches.

    Also if your wheels are not seated against the hubs you are at serious risk of shearing off studs! You should remedy that issue ASAP! (Note: my truck doesn't have "wheel stud clips", so I'm not sure what you're talking about)

    I don't know where Wheel Rack is located, but if you're anywhere near Northern California, I suggest you pay a visit to Custom Alignment in Mountain View.

    That is what I wanted to know about lug centric on the Dodges.
    I am in Indiana working right now and it's near impossible to find a shop that can road force balance 19.5 tires ( lots of shops do car tires ). I have a appt with a shop with some limited experience and the right equipment so i will give it a shot.

    On my Ford I have not had problems. I got them from Chris.
