Finally got to tow with our new 6.2 this weekend. It did surprisingly well towing double with a 9000 lb 5th wheel and 1000 lb boat. It's no ecoboost or diesel but it's still 385HP and the 6-spd makes gear changes tolerable.
Got 8.5mpg on the way there and 9.2 on the way back. Considering there were 10 tires on the ground and almost 70 feet long, not too bad. In 2 weeks we will be running with just the 5th and will get an idea of what sort of mileage we'll get.
