I really like the Duramax but one of my favorite things about the Cummins is that it doesn't sound or act quite as refined. I like that there is still a little bit of the old diesel chracteristics still left in it and that they still offer the option (which I am sure will go away soon) of a manual transmission. Ford ?? Since the 7.3, they haven't been worth mentioning IMO.
As for me, my next HD will be the 6.4 gasser in a Ram.
