I have no problems with the rig in my signature. I'm always over 4000 foot altitude and endless up/down very few level places out here. The guy that designed the 6.2 Boss explained the engine and 6 speed on the ford-trucks forum. He stated you can run it all day at 4500 to 5500 rpms. I've pulled some steep uphills at 5500 rpm in 2nd gear and the truck actually ran better after this "break in" situation. My fuel mileage went up after this as well. I debate with my self on the need for a 4.30 final drive gear. Tow capacity rating from Ford goes up from 12,500 to 15,000 with it.
