I can see why the diesel vs. gas thread hasn't seen any posts recently. They are all over here!!!:) I'm not going to get into that battle of words.
To the OP, obviously there are many towing with gassers. I am one of them. I previously had a V10 and now a 6.2. My first tow last weekend was a pleasure. My fiver is around 10k lbs. Cruised along at 65 in 5th at 2000RPMs. I climbed a couple 5-6% grades in 3rd, 3500rpms at 55 mph at about half throttle. Couldn't be happier.
You with a 13k trailer, I would want a diesel.
