Fish, it's a play on words. Read the OP carefully. Pretty sure spell check got him and he meant spectators.

The GMC AT4 version is on my list of daily driver replacement vehicles, but I don't think I can swallow the idea of owning a body-on-frame vehicle as a daily driver in the winter in Eastern, WA with all the cra_p that gets spewed all over the roads and highways in the winter time. (salt / sand / deicer).

I've seen my brother's 2008 3500HD dually get all sorts of rust on the frame and undercarriage.

I don't drive my dually in the winter.

There are some here. My buddy bought a GMC version last month. So far he is happy. They are upping the tow rating on them which needed to be done.

How many...spectaculars...do you want?

^^^i could be wrong but I thought GM and Ford developed that 10 speed together; ie they both use the same identical transmission. The shifting software would be different for the different engines which would make the shifts feel different. 27 mpg is tremendous!

I leased a 2020 GMC Denali with the baby Duramax, crew cab 5/12 foot box and 4wd. Use the truck as passenger vehicle only and no towing. I am extremely pleased with that diesel. It is so smooth, quiet and powerful. Fuel economy has average about 27 mpg. Have only 3,000 miles so far. Small fuel tank but has a 600 mile range. Another extremely positive aspect is the 10 speed automatic. Don’t feel any shifting. I traded a 2019 Ford F-150 Lariat Super Crew with the 2.7 Ecoboost. Good little engine but 10 speed definitely not up to par with the GM. Steering definitely superior in the GM. One disappointment is the Lariat is in the middle of Fords lineup and it is more luxurious inside than the Denali that is top of the GMC lineup.
