That has to put a major crimp in your eating-out life since almost without exception, restaurants use gas-fired stoves/grills/broilers, and sometimes even deep fryers.
Actually, it only bothers in in the teppanyaki Japanese steak houses when I sit around their gas griddles. I am not bothered by being in other restaurants because I am not sitting in their kitchens.
