Anyone ever install Allure Ultra flooring

We recently put a solid vinyl laminate plank flooring in our house. LOVE IT! We'd used the wood laminate plank several years ago and between doggie toenails and an occasional accident, it was terrible in no time. I told the salesman I wanted "everything proof" and he assured me that this was. Brought home a sample for DH to see and he suggested putting it in the sink with water. Left it all day and absolutely no change from when we put it in. Easy to do, snaps together and we put the quarter round down with brads going into the wall rather than the floor....the floor needs to float and expand or contract with the weather. If I read your post correctly, it says the manufacturer says NOT to install if not climate controlled. If that is correct, I would make a phone call to find out why and get good info.
