I used the GM version, but I went with the salt spreader one. It came with a mounting base and is mounted on top of the door. Quick and easy, plug and play.
I came close to not disconnecting it when off loading the camper, but I caught it in time. Glad to hear that I am not the only one.
My camper doesn't have a licence plate, that is main reason for going with the salt spreader one.
