Just curious really. I thought the inline 6 layout would raise a few eyebrows. I expect the power specs to be inline (see what I did there?) with the ED and the Baby Powerstroke... but with it be...

I am sure it will get roasted here as underpowered, and not for towing. But I doubt that GM will push it as the choice for a towing engine. Just like the other 2, they will position it as the best MPG option.
Personally, if I was in the market for a 1500 truck to tow my boat and use as a DD, I would look very hard at one.
I hope they add it as an option to the Suburban / Yukon XL. I think they would have a real winner there.
