I currently full time (solo) in an 04 Lance 1121 purchased that same year. Started out as an extended traveler averaging 30-35k miles/yr for business trips, primarily up and down the east coast in all four seasons. Nearly three years ago, a little problem with my ticker gave me issue to pause. Too healthy to retire, yet needing to reduce stress, I chose camping, sans the commute.
It's been tolerable for the past three years. I've camped mostly at Fed/State/City&County parks and reduced my mileage by nearly 2/3s while working. The TC has pretty easily allowed me to travel, work and live off grid up north for a week or two at a time during the winter months.
However, at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 25 days with one prescription being a diuretic, there are a couple of things about my camper that's started to bug me. First, I'd like more room for a Barcalounger and secondly, rappelling from the bed to the floor 3 times a night to get to the bathroom is a PIA. You really need to be awake during that ordeal. And of course, you will be awake by the time you return to bed.:B
The full time lifestyle has offered a lot of freedom and less stress, in my case, even while still working. And the TC has best suited my overall needs to date. However, change is on the horizon.:C
