Like you our first trailer was a 1973 Apache hard sided Ramada trailer which we loved and finally sold in 1982 when we bought our 1981 Prowler mainly since with two growing sons the Apache was getting too small. We kept the Prowler for the next 25 years and finally traded it in on this new one in 2007. The Prowler was still in great shape except for the golf ball dimpled siding from the monster hail storm in Va back in 1999. The cost to redo the skin FAR EXCEEDED the value or aggravation to fix so we finally just decided to make the move. We really like our current trailer and will probably never trade it in, but we still get that "tear in the eye" when we think about all the memories we made in our 1981 Prowler.
