Anyone tow with a trailblazer ext 4.2 with 410 ??

Thinking of trying an 04-06 extended trailblazer with that strong 4.2 inline. I know the trans is the same as my suburban I thought. They do make a 410 in that truck and I thought it could tow u...

Our '05 TB has a 3.73 axle behind the 4.2. I melted/plugged the cat when I tried hauling a '83 F-100 on a U- Haul trailer. In hindsight I was 1000# or a bit more overweight and the truck caught a lot of air being so far above the TB roofline. Pulled good until the cat plugged...about an hour away from home with two hours to go.

No problems with the smaller trailers I've had behind it. So be sure to keep it within its ratings.
