I use Dicor. I had it with Geocel forever. I had a leak when traveling and found some Geocel. I had a great deal of difficulty sealing the leak when I was on the road and did not have access to a ladder. I ended up jockeying the RV so I could use a picnic table and could then just barely reach far enough to do the caulking. The next rain it leaked and I did a temp repair with duct tape. Months later at home I ordered new Geocel from Camping World. The caulk was partially set and would not seal. I ended up using Dicor. That was 5 years ago and the caulk job still looks and works like new.
I am not sure what happened with the Geocel. Perhaps some bad batches. Or maybe it has a short shelf life in the tube. I just switched permanently to Dicor. I use Dicor for both horizontal and vertical surfaces. I typically just order the non sag version since it will also work just fine on a horizontal surface.
