Interesting, but he's already paid his dues ... much harder to get paid if you have no publishing record. And easier to make that statement too, when you have a reputation established.

Altho, I agree with his premise, that all writers, photographers, artists should get paid ... every time. Too many people think it's easy, and anyone can do it. Consistency is the trick, do it well, day after day and make no errors.

It's a job, like any other job.
