- darlingtontrioExplorerWell I have stripped my rook down and started applying my 50 foot roll of eternabond. I was sold a 25 foot and told it was 50. I am now impatiently waiting on a response from the seller.
- epetersExplorerI have done it successfully as well. However, my trailer does not have Silicon caulk on the roof.
At one point I worked overlapping 4" strips to ensure I could cover effectively the old caulk. When I did this, I made sure the seam was not exposed to the wind when driving down the road, just to be sure. - llowllmsExplorer

I applied if right over the caulk lumps in 2006. Still fine this year. Still looks lumpy but it can't be seen from ground level.

Chuck, your calk looks to be six inches rather than four inches. I don't think the four inch would work as well, in the application you have shown, as your installation. - RoadpilotExplorerI just did that with no success. The eternabond stuck great to the roof of the MH but not the caulk. It says it won't stick to silicon and they mean it.

-- Chuck - naturistNomadNot enough detail to hazard a guess. Caulk width/height? Caulk condition? Caulk covers what problem? What is the rest of the surface? What kind of caulk?
