A Honda/Yamaha 2000 is really borderline getting a 13.5k btu air/con started. We went with a 2400. It's a bit bulkier but not too bad. A pair of 2000's with combiner cables will work but a lot more money.
There are other brands that are competing but check the decibel ratings and remember that 3db is twice as loud and also watch the distance they measure the db at. Cheaper units often measure at a greater distance to create the illusion they are quieter.
