I would say the report coming from a population of 30 million cars is statistically significant. :W
What also is significant is your statement proves ignorance is a bliss. :S
I wouldn't call it statistically significant when the source is skewed to a single sales site. I believe that a registration query from all 50 states would be far more statistically significant since that isn't really biased. Also, one could make some possible false conclusions... such as Ford owners wanting to dump errr sell their 6.0 and 6.4 liter trucks onto some other owner...
