I think the reason so many HD Fords are still on the road is the fact so many have become Fummins.
I actually drove a really cool Fummins F-150 a couple days ago. The guy put in a 4 BT Cummins with a 5 speed behind it. 28 mpg on a 300 mile trip over the Cascades in NW WA.
