As a nearly life-long GM truck owner, I don't like the looks of any new truck, especially the front view.
Best look (in my opinion) the '03 version of GMC X-cab, and with the wing-doors (extremely effective for loading0. But, of course, the feds kicked that wing door design out. Can't imagine that small door post makes that much difference, but not an engineer either, so maybe it does.
I picked the Chevy Dbl Cab because it was available, ready when I wanted to buy a truck, and if I don't truly like the looks of one over the other, what matters? I buy a truck so it will WORK ... 2500HD does its job, and that's really what matters with a truck. None are much better or much worse in design or features, although any brand can have a 'lemon' built one day or another.
