When I ordered my 2000 F250 back in summer of 99, the prices were not even released. Prices were out when it got built but no incentives listed. I figured by time it arrived would have some deals on?
Apparently the Superduty's were so hot then, Ford offered nothing, no low rates thru Ford Credit, no extra deals for dealership employees, no nothing.
There's the price, pay it or someone else will.
I paid it but refused to use Ford Credit in protest.. :B
So it "can" work against you when your "brand" is too successful.
That wasn't the case when I ordered 2014 Focus last fall. :W
