OK ????? your opinion on that. So do you like the looks of your 2000 superduty, or the overdone gaudy new front ends ??
Well Mark, I like both but prefer the look of the original 99/2000 Superdutys.
If your gonna copy something, copy the best I guess... :W
Wonder what look the GMC will have 15 yrs from now? - MARK_VANDERBENTExplorerOK ????? your opinion on that. So do you like the looks of your 2000 superduty, or the overdone gaudy new front ends ??

Have to say when I see a 14 sierra next to any other truck it just looks so sweet to me. I love the squared off wells. Dare to be different !!!!
Mark, you will think I am brand bashing but I am totally serious.
Have thought this since first saw the pictures of the 2014 GMC front end.
Straight on view it to me sure looks like my 2000 F250!!
In fact if someone posted side by side photos of the 2000 F250 and 2014 GMC with the grill nameplates blurred from a distance of half a block away I bet many could not say which is which?
So really.. Dare to be different? - e-lightExplorer

THROW SOME TUNDRA BASHING IN HERE, I FEEL LEFT OUT!
I cant really bash any of the trucks, theyre all great. I wish my Tundra had more payload, id still be driving it. That said I sure hope either the Tundra or Nissan 5.0 Cummins have some extra payload. Those motors should be awesome. If they up the payload to F150 max payload levels theyd really have a nice platform. - Ron3rdExplorer IIITHROW SOME TUNDRA BASHING IN HERE, I FEEL LEFT OUT!

Good for you but I would have to say the opposite in that I think it is hideous! I was very brand loyal to Ford (owned 3 in the last 20 years), but we just bought our first Ram and we are loving it and the Cummins. The old notion that the Cummins is great and the Dodge wrapper sucks is long gone; the late model Rams are absolutely awesome, as is the Cummins. I would not be surprised at all to see Ram take second place in the relatively near future after experiencing this truck.
If I could offer any advice it would be to have a look at other brands of vehicles; you may be much better off in the long run than blindly being brand loyal!;)
I hope this goes without any offense taken!
I guess that's why they make them different for various tastes. I personally find the current Ram trucks hideous to look at. I'm kinda lukewarm on Ford SD and GM 2500/3500, but that Ram wrapper just turns me off and I currently drive a 05 Dodge 2500 CTD. I think the CTD is the best engine of the three, but the others are good options. I will say I haven't checked out the interiors of any of the three, but I may get to that point as we need to move up to a 3500 model.
I might warm up to the Ram looks eventually, but so far it's just not doing it for me. I guess if I move up I'll still decide based upon performance, but I must admit styling does still play into the decision. jus2shy wrote:

That there was funny... No Dodge errr... RAM HD truck on that list. :W
Touche~ One can make several assumptions like Ram owners like to drive trucks until the wheel fall off or possibly the frames disintegrate before a chance to re-sell the vehicle. Like I say, I more incline to believe registration records over a sales website's data.
Oh well, Ram's only been around since 2012 or whenever the engineers went in back and utilized tons of supercomputer power to badge-engineer the trucks. I can only imagine the tons of math crunching it took to get the geometries right :p
Or they like to drive it until the dashboard caves in. :B I saw one in the parking lot this week at Bass Pro Shops. It had a big hole in the dash, but the rest of the truck looked pretty decent. I suspect it had over 200k miles.- jus2shyExplorer
