I’ve had ARB lockers on our Jeep for many years and they are GREAT offroad.
One thing you may not be aware of is the ARB wiring harness that comes with front and rear ARB lockers (for my TJ anyway) actually prevents you from engaging the front locker unless the rear is all ready engaged. You can engage the rear or the front & rear, but not just the front. As I recall, the instructions which came with the lockers said this was to prevent loss of control of the vehicle and killing yourself and half the people in the county. So, based on that, I would not put and ARB in the front without also having one in the rear.
