Arctic Fox 22G

I have finally convinced my wife to sell our Jayco and buy an Arctic Fox 22G. I was curious to see if anyone else has the 22G. We are thinking about ordering one since this will be our last camper for a VERY long time.

I'm guessing you also know about the Fox forum at http://www.afnash.com

No, I was not aware that they had their own forum. Thanks for pointing that out, though!

When we ordered our 29-5E we assumed the Fantastic Fan would be thermo-switched like the one in our 24-5N. It wasn't. Just a basic FF. Really wished we had noticed this as it was important.

What exactly is the Fantastic Fan? I don't remember seeing that on the build sheet. And why is the thermo-switch important to you?

I think that option is now listed. We did not want an awning, but it comes standard. I was going to ask an Arctic Fox dealer if money could be saved by leaving it off.

I don't have one now but have been looking at purchasing a new trailer. And 'absolute northwood' is on my very short list. I would go a little bigger, perhaps the 24-25 foot range just to get a slide-out and a little more floor space. Be sure you have a stout tow vehicle as even the 22G is fairly heavy compared to most 22 foot TT's.

If you are looking for something that will last a VERY long time you might look at Airstream as 70 percent built since the mid 1930's are still on the road. That is a VERY long time for an RV.
  • We like the Arctic Fox 22G with no slide. If we ever downsize that will be the one we choose.

Nice size bathroom with plenty of clothes storage, usable kitchen with counter space, full fridge, good outside storage...has everything in a small package. Wish it came with twin beds option so that could be used as a lounge and sleeping area.

I guess those are the two biggies we missed
