I know it is hard to put off getting a new toy but I think you should take care of the house business first.
Like I said earlier, buying an Arctic Fox isn't so much a toy as it is a way of life.
As for taking care of the house business first, we've spent the last two years developing the property. Just to give you an idea, we've put $80,000 cash into the property (land, drilling a well, installing an underground concrete well house, bringing in electricity, building a driveway, installing a septic, and bringing in a 12'X28' portable storage building.

It would be a shame to apply for a mortgage and have your credit limited due to the recent RV purchase.
Our debt-to-income will not be a problem. And to be honest, banks don't care about credit anymore. There are many people with high credit scores who can't get home mortgage loan. Banks want to see money and assets. Remember, having no credit is not the same as bad credit.

A great website/phone app for examining your credit and the various improvements that can be made is https://www.creditkarma.com/. You will have to give them info like your SS# but you will receive free credit reports, advice on improving your credit score, and free credit monitoring. All services are free and safe to use, they make money if you open a recommended credit card account but there are no obligations.
That's cool! I will check into that!

I took a look at that Northwood forum, it looks pretty dead compared to this and others.
You're correct, but sometimes good information is about quality, not quantity.
