Are Generators worth the $$'s
We're going to Moraine Campground in Colorado next Summer where there is not electricity/water. I'm an outdoorsman, but my wife isn't, so I'm thinking about the Honda 2000i Generators x2 for this tri...

There's camping and there's RVing...I rarely RV as in campgrounds or RV parks.A generator is a must for long stays in the hills where solar has know place parked in the shade next to a creek.
When I had my Beaver motorhome the 4k Onan was perfect for whatever, air/micro or the vacuum and keeping the battery up. Now I use 2 and 3k Honda's and I like the 3k better because it's quieter and runs the micro much easier and quieter. Can't hardly tell you turn the micro on with it but the Honda 2k screams!
If I could only have just one generator for everything, it would be the Honda 3k and I have 5 generator in all from 1200 watts to 4000 watts. My garage is full of generators and chainsaws.:B
