There is a "loan processing fee" . Are you kidding? A fee for the privlidge of paying interest? I think not. Also trailer to be purchased is not available with an oven. So we are back to square one and in no hurry. What a shocker

We've had that loan fee just briefly mentioned in the supposed final chat. DH just says "hold it....not paying that!!!!!" It works if they think that's the difference between sold and not. Re the oven....can it be added? We loved having the oven and used it virtually every trip. Good luck.

What a shockerYes, you have been out of the loan game for a while.The loan processing fee for MANY loans has been around for at least 6 yrs or so..I was shocked about it when I went to the bank for a auto loan for my 2013 truck.. Didn't have to pay a processing fee in 2006..You need to thank all the greedy folks who started the big housing bubble which burst.. The bank told me that fee comes from all the new regulations that have come about from the great housing bubble collapse.. Some banks may "hide" the processing fee within other hidden costs and some banks don't.. But it IS there none the less.If you don't wish to pay for the privilege of paying interest then you have no choice but to SAVE as much money as you can and pay cash.

That's how they make their money, not from interest, they sell the loan.

They get you on registration too. When I bought two quads about a week apart, They charged me a 95.00 registration fee... When I got the first plate, I was shocked to see that DMV only charged 5.00 for the plate. I called the dealer and they said that the 90.00 extra dollars was for them handling it for me.Well the second quads registration had a problem, and the plate never arrived. I called the dealer and thay told me to go to DMV... DMV in AZ is horrible. Anyone who has spent a day there, never wants to do it again.... So I told the dealer that "No, I paid you 90.00 to handle this for me.. So you do what I paid you for and get me my plate.. Best 90 bucks I ever spent.

:) Hi, in California, we always used AAA for DMV transactions. In Oregon AAA isn't allowed to handle any DMV processes, but our DMV's are fast, easy, and friendly. What a difference!
The quad deal was back in 2004. Now there are some other options. In 2010 when I bought my TT, my credit union did the whole thing for me in one of their branches... Free. Still, at that time it worked out well for me.

You wait another year. You will need more than 5k. The price will go up. Always does. The same model APEX we have went up 3k in one year from 2013 to 2014.
