I drove 8 hours to go get the TC I recently purchased......There were none to be found locally.
I took me several hours at the dealership to "kick the tires" on it sufficiently to make sure I wasn't buying a lemon.....and there were a couple of things I made them fix before I bought it.
There were also some problems getting the electrical hookup to the truck working.
There is also the matter of the money transfer. I bought it outright, and getting the money transfer done to the satisfaction of both parties would have been impossible without being in their office. It would have been easier to finance it and then pay it off.
I wouldn't have wanted to attempt all that at a parking lot rendezvous.
