Ok, so I am going to guess that the diesel would try to stay in the 2000-3000 rpm range to stay in its band, while the hemi would climb the hill between 3000 and 4000 rpm. And if anything the hemi would have a slightly easier time keeping up speed. That's nice to know.
About the rear axle ratio, there is a difference... but that raises a new question and I've put that in a separate thread.
BTW ArcticDodge, the Tigers had a good season in football last fall... but the coach left afterward due to health issues. Not an easy job! No idea how the new guy will do with the team.
