I dun-no! :h All I know is my truck works for me.
I preached a sermon one time ... yea, I really did, in front of real church people. I lived in North Carolina at the time, about 50 miles from Ashville and I owned a 750 Honda. I loved driving the route from Morganton to Ashville on I-40 (uphill that mountain about all the way).
Back to my sermon:
I used the example. Now I ride a 750 Honda motorcycle and I absolutely love riding up "Black Mountain" to Ashville. (Everyone there knew exactly what I was talking about). I said, I noticed on a couple occasions I was able to whiz right up I-40 all the way to Ashville at 70 MPH, and that motorcycle never dropped a millisecond in speed! I was also kind of amazed at all the 18 wheeler semi trucks lumbering UP that mountain in the slow lane, some barely moving, but still, they were all moving heading toward the top.
Everyone eventually made it to the top. I made it much faster on a much smaller machine. Those truck drivers made it to the top much slower in their big lumbering machines that were hauling tremendous loads in their trailers.
The important thing was, we ALL made it to the top and "over"! Some faster, some slower, some carrying a heavy load, some carrying no load, but everyone made it!
Well, everyone thought that was a good illustration. I'll disregard the spiritual application so this won't turn into a discussion on religion, but I will say this: Everyone made it to the top! Your method of transportation may be different that someone elses, and you may be carrying a different load than some one else, but the important thing is, eventually, we ALL do make it over the mountain! Gas or Diesel!
