Attaching generator to travel trailer
I'm getting ready for a summer trip out west, 6-8 week duration. Want to ask if anyone has a good method of attaching a 3-4kw generator to their travel trailer. Thanks for your advise. Steve

I have a small, compact Honda EU2000i so it travels in the back of my Chevy Avalanche where I also run it when needed. JMO, I'd not want to add additional weight aft of the axle on any trailer as that will only serve to unload the tongue, perhaps excessively ... instead, if I was absolutely determined to mount the genset on the trailer I'd fabricate a frame which would allow mounting the genset over the trailer's A frame, where if anything it would increase gross tongue weight rather than reduce it. Go to Google Images and search for "mounting generator on trailer tongue" and you'll see all sorts of examples.
