You are not reading the right diesel mags if you feel that the content is not aimed at the general population of diesel owners. There are many articles about trans builds for towing and other power mods for the low end meant for towing. I always ask myself first if a mod will help or hurt my towing, as that is the reason I own a diesel. If it won't help me tow, I don't do it. Some of them are tempting :).
