Whats the rest of the story? How did the TC fall out of the truck? You still would of had 3 tie downs holding.
+1. Were you taking evasive action? Hit by a truck? Bumpy section at high speed? Sorry to see what happened and not saying you could have prevented what happened, but I'd be surprised if you were just driving down the road and it just gave up and the camper fell out. More detail would be helpful to others so that they might try to avoid the conditions you encountered. Hope things work out for you and do admit, it looks to be a minimal amount of attachment of such an important piece. Wondering if all manufactures do something similar.

I am curious about the whole story as well. I understand the plate ripped out of the corner and the camper rolled out of a truck. Mike commented on a wind storm and insurance. The pictures are oriented as if the camper is laying on it's side but that may depend on camera orientation. Did I miss the thread that contained the whole story of a wind gust blowing a TC out of a truck?
I'm agree it looks like a poor tie-down mounting design but that is some crazy wind to blow a camper out of a truck if I am understanding the story correctly. I thought the wind was going to blow my camper over last night but it's not in my truck.
