My Palomino Bronco (Yea, I know, folks on this forum have low esteem of Palomino)but my camper was coming apart exactly like this one did. Huge bolts holding the tie down plate (which actually doubles as the jack point) but the plywood the plate was attached to was only held on with four wood screws at the front, screwed into a piece of 3/4 X 3/4 pine!. I caught it in time and added angle aluminum to attach the jack pad to the side of the camper with through bolts.
If you look at the pictures closely you'll see that there are more than just a few wood screws. There are aluminum channels on both sides of the splice with several wood screws. One channel is still attached to the camper while another is located on the other side of the wood. You'll also notice on the bottom front of the camper several wood screws still attached to the camper.
