Like I said earlier, I've driven through some pretty intense wind in Northern AZ in my WC 850 and have encountered no issues or damage with my tie downs. Mine have been rock solid.
Mike, Having no spliced panel and using the direct vertical pull Torklifts (per WC), my guess is you'll likely be just fine...Enjoy your Beautiful Camper Sir!
