Sorry everyone! Busy day!
Here is some more information for those that asked.
Longbed Version - was mounted to my shortbed '13 F-250 with RideRite Airbags and a HD Rear Swaybar... A smooth ride.
Weather? 65 degrees and wet, no wind.
Connections: Happijac's in the front. (My dealer insisted on them and installed them when I bought the camper. However, I couldn't stomach how easily my rear bumper seemed to flex upward, so I added Torklifts to the back. They bolt up to my stock Class V hitch. Happijac turnbuckles used all the way around. The fronts are spring loaded, but I don't believe the rears are. The rears hook to 4 links of chain, then to the Torklift.
Attachment method. I attach em like the dealer said to. We used a hacksaw to notch the front turnbuckle at zero load. I snug them up, then tighten 1/4" to 3/8" past the hatch mark. Supposedly this sets the correct pre-load.
I have probably 6-7K miles on the camper.
